Location and facilities

The romantic, Alpine 4-star Sportiv-Hotel Mittagskogel lies in the centre of the Mandarfen hamlet. The Rifflsee ski area is about 50 m away, the Pitztal Glacier is about 500 m away and the pistes can take you back down to just about 15 m away from the accommodation. The nearest ski bus stop is located about 20 m away.

The welcoming accommodation has a reception, lift, fireplace hall, Wi-Fi, restaurant, bar, a dining room with modern furnishings, and café. Free parking spaces as well as a fee-based parking garage can also be found.

The fitness room with "Ergobike" as well as the approx. 350 m² spa area with indoor pool including counter-current system and jet bench, steam bath, organic sauna, Finnish sauna, infrared cabin and relaxation room are available to enjoy for free (opening hours as per info in resort).

The hotel's own ski hire is also available to guests at a 20% discount.

Board

The already included half board consists of a breakfast buffet as well as a 4-course evening meal to choose including a salad buffet (except on themed evenings). Various themed buffets will also be organised. A special menu is also available for children. On Christmas (24/12), a 6-course menu is included.

Important notes

  • Dogs are not permitted in the dining area.
  • From the purchase of a 2-day (or longer) Pitztal Glacier & Rifflsee lift pass, you can also use the lifts of the Kaunertal Glacier, Winterberg Fendels or the Hochzeiger ski area on one day within the validity of the lift pass.
  • From the purchase of a 2-day (or longer) Pitztal Glacier & Rifflsee lift pass, you will receive a 2- in 3-days lift pass on site (or the 3-day lift pass corresponds to a 3- in 4-days lift pass, etc.), with which you have the option of using your lift pass flexibly within the period of validity, e.g. on the day of arrival and departure instead of on two consecutive days.
  • Please note that a handling fee of €2 will be charged on site for infants travelling free of charge.
  • Please note that the Rifflsee ski area is open from 07/12/2024 to 21/04/2025.
  • When booking several-bed rooms or rooms with additional beds, there is no entitlement to the additional beds in the event of under-occupancy.
