Cross-country Turrach

A total of 18 kilometres of cross-country trails are available on the Turracher Höhe - ideal for beginners and experienced cross-country skiers. The 1.8 km long Turracher Seeloipe trail runs idyllically along the lake and is ideal for beginners. The Zirbenwald cross-country trail, which leads through a tranquil winter forest landscape, is more sporty. A special highlight is the Schwarzsee-Hochmoor cross-country trail at up to 1,861 metres above sea level with a magnificent mountain panorama. To access the Hochmoor trail and the Weitental valley, we recommend taking the Wildkopfbahn cable car up the mountain; the return is via the ski trail via s'Hüttenplatzerl. A day ticket (approx. €5) is required to use the cross-country trails. Cross-country skiing courses can be booked on site and equipment can be hired or bought in the shops - the best conditions for a relaxed winter experience away from the pistes.
