As Europe's highest ski station, Val Thorens offers a high snow guarantee at 2,300 m altitude from the end of November right through to the beginning of May. Additionally you will also find the longest piste of the region with 12 km and an altitude difference of 1,300 m here.
The valley surrounding the village Courchevel belongs to one of the best-equipped ski stations world-wide. The highly efficient cable car takes you to the peak of La Saulier (2,738 m). From here Alpine skiers can access one of the longest pistes "Les Creux", as well as the pitch-black piste of extremes from the peak right down to Courchevel. Another highlight are the "Liberty Rides", which are especially difficult, unprepared slopes for freeriders and professional skiers.
Méribel, located in the heart of the ski region, is the ideal place to go for skiers who intend to explore the entire territory of the "Les 3 Vallées". On both sides of the valley, numerous pistes stretch out over the hillsides. But the best thing about the three valleys is: The valleys themselves are also connected via ski lifts, so you don't even have to take off your skis. This is truly unlimited skiing fun!
