Ski area Bocksberg - Hahnenklee
The "Bocksberg" ski area offers you five idyllic descents totalling approx. 2 km in length. The pistes are particularly suitable for families with children as well as leisure skiers. The 4 lift systems take you up to the Bocksberg, from where you can plunge into the alpine winter fun. For the little ones, there is a children's lift with a 200 m descent where they can practise their first turns in a relaxed manner.
The ski area offers wonderful descents with different levels of difficulty as well as the 1.5 km long toboggan run, which is one of the longest runs in the Harz Mountains. Modern snow-making facilities ensure the reliability of snow on the descent and the toboggan run can even be fully illuminated. The rustic Bocksberghütte directly at the top station of the cable car offers you a wonderful view and has some tasty treats for winter sports enthusiasts.

In winter, many snow-covered meadows and forests create a romantic magic in the tranquil winter sports resort of Hahnenklee-Bockswiese. After skiing, experience one of the exciting winter hikes through the picturesque Harz landscape. The frozen pond in the spa gardens is ideal for ice skating or Bavarian curling. Those interested in culture can go on excursions to the famous Gustav-Adolf-Stabkirche church in Hahnenklee, which was built according to the Norwegian model, or to the Rammelsberg ore mine, which now functions as a museum and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
During the Advent season in particular, a wonderful Christmas market against a historic backdrop in Goslar, around 16 kilometres away, creates a romantic atmosphere. In the evening, you can take part in guided torch-lit hikes or torch-lit runs. Or round off the day in one of the cosy inns with tasty specialities.
