The comfortable Camping Zugspitze (Baumhaus) is located approx. 2,7 km away from the centre of Grainau. The centre of Garmisch-Partenkirchen deserves a visit, and is approx. 4 km away from the accommodation. Access to the ski slopes is provided by the Alpspitzbahn mountain railway approx. 3 km away.
