The family-run 4-star Parkhotel Sonnenhof is located approx. 700 m from the centre of Oberammergau. Access to the ski area is possible via the Kreuzeckbahn lift, which is approx. 23.7 km away. Cross-country skiing is available on the nearby network of trails. Oberammergau railway station is approx. 850 m away.Facilities
The cosy hotel's facilities include a reception (06:15 - 22:15, subject to change), Wi-Fi, internet corner, lounge, lift, breakfast room, hotel restaurant and hotel bar. The spa area with indoor pool invites you to relax. Here you will also find a organic sauna, steam bath, Kneipp facility and experience shower. The solarium, infrared cabin and massages are available for a fee. One spa voucher for the solarium for approx. 12 minutes per person per stay is included (for stays of 7 nights or more, no cash redemption, non-transferable). For stays of 7 nights or more, one spa voucher for the infrared cabin per person per stay for 10 minutes is also included in the price. A bathrobe and sauna towels are available on site (on loan).Children

When booking rooms with half board, meals include a welcome drink and a rich breakfast buffet (06:45–10:15). In the evening, you will be served a 4-course menu or a themed buffet, where you can indulge in culinary delights. At Christmas, there is a Christmas party with mulled wine and biscuits, followed by a 4-course candlelit dinner. On New Year's Eve, there is a 6-course New Year's Eve menu. A midnight snack including goulash soup and white sausages on New Year's Eve (31/12) rounds off the special culinary offerings for the end-of-year holidays. Guests of the hotel receive one "cocktail voucher" per person per stay (for stays of 7 nights or more, no cash redemption, non-transferable). During the periods 05/12 to 21/12/2025, 11/01 to 01/02/2026 and 01/03 to 15/03/2026, one table drink per person is also included with dinner. Lactose-free, gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan alternatives are also available on request.
