Cross-country Val d'Isarco

Among cross-country skiers, Val d'Isarco is known as "Valley of Paths" - with its unbelievable 240 km of trails, it has an excellent reputation. Here, at the foot of the Dolomites, you can look forward to a perfect combination of snowy nature experience and sportive challenges. Surrounding the resorts Brixen, Feldthurns, Meransen, Mühlbach in Pusteral and Villanders, you can find various trails in all different levels of difficulty and length. Advanced skiers and everybody looking for a challenge will get their money's worth on the 8 km high altitude trail at Würzjoch on up to 2,050 m. The trail bridges a 300 m difference in altitude. If you are looking for relaxed cross-country skiing, there is much to explore for you: the panorama trails above the muncipality of Villanders at Grasser hut, or the 16 km round course nearby Meransen are suitable for less experienced cross-country skiers. Countless mountain huts and hill farms with a cosy, South Tyrolean atmosphere invite you to take a break.
