The high-altitude trail in Vals, stretching over 10 km, offers a particularly charming route. On the Gitschberg, the Altfasstal trail offers a fantastic view from an altitude of 1,556 m. It offers the ultimate cross-country skiing experience for both beginners and experienced skiers over a distance of around 8 km. To the east of Mühlbach lies the Rodenecker-Lüsner-Alm trail. It is double-tracked and beautifully groomed, with plenty of width for skating over its 15 km length.
