Cross-country Mammoth Mountain

Between the Tamarack Cross-Country Centre an the trail network at Mammoth Lake, there are many well prepared pistes for Nordic fans. The cross-country centre at Tamarack offers about 30 km of prepared track. A special highlight here are the guided cross-country tours under a full moon, where participants can enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings under a starry sky. In the forests at Mammoth, winter sports fans simply need to keep an eye out for blue markings showing the track network's direction. The approx. 40 km of prepared track around the four high-alpine lakes, for which Mammoth is well known, are very lovely. With these conditions, cross-country skiing is an extra special experience.
